After asking our friends if they would be interested in helping us with our engagement photos, we had an overwhelmingly generous response and decided to say “Yes,” to every single one of them, we only get to do this multiple times once right? 🙂 Together we came up with locations, wardrobes and themes for each one, and referred to our favorite site for inspiration, we especially loved this one, oh and this one too!

First photographer up is our wonderful friend, and fellow Gator, Amy (photography website coming soon!): Amy currently works in architecture and is shifting towards incorporating more and more photography into her work and free time. Her favorite food is “dessert,” she’s a pro at making Zoodles (25 delicious recipes here) + she loves seeing other people smile just as much as I do.

Change scene: In pursuit of a place to take our multicolored balloons for a stroll, we headed over to Kenneth Hahn Park and found way more than we had bargained for:

Tips:

Scope out locations and purchase props beforehand.
Latex, helium balloons must be used day of, ours were all deflated by the next morning.
Decide where and what time to go based on how the sun will light it up.
Ladies, bring a pair of flip flops to wear during “scene changes” 😉
Have fun! These are memories that you will not only look back on in photos, but they will stay in your heart forever.
