Meet Book Mountain, an amazing library in Spijkenisse, a small city close to Rotterdam in the Netherlands. The recently constructed modern mountain of books cost 30 million euros to build and has space for 150,000 books! Wide stairs are used to connect the different levels of book platforms, forming a continuous route to the peak.

Not only does this library make you feel a sense of accomplishment for summiting the books, but once you reach the peak, there is a cafe for you to relax in with the book you chose along the accent. The ceiling is constructed of glass panels, allowing in natural light, and also features a sophisticated heating and cooling system that naturally keeps the giant room at a comfortable temperature during the summer and winter months.
